Roads are not Circus grounds
Disclaimer:
I am not against students or children who really make gud use of facilities and there are many exceptional cases in which children get spoiled even if parents are perfect, i am talking only about the majority.

well said ram.bikes and other gizmos aren't appropriate for young students.but i feel this is just a sign of changing times.with a booming economy parents earn more and hence spend it on their children.even when i was in 12th (around 4 yrs ago) none of my friends used to come to either school or tuition by bikes.same with cellphones.having a cellphone was a luxury.but that doesn't seem to be the case today.

ram,u r absolutely rite. the parents should definitely think b4 they buy a bike or something to their child.

paurna, as u said it is true dat this is changing times, but still the parents have the responsibility for their children's welfare and also the moral resposibility of other's safety.

Hi Ram,

In 12th I had a classmate who came driving his Scorpio to school. Our Princy was very straightforward, he immediately told that, we don't provide parking place for students. Call your parents to take the car right now. So not only the parents also the Institution heads play a major role in this, as far as these guys are studying there. The second role is the girls role. Better they ignore, to avoid leaving their friends/classmates at risk! 'Irundalum I pity your kids ;) '
And about your question :> I guess, when its our name we don't feel lazy to type even if its 26 characters long ;) May be I would feel lazy when I type some one else's name. You need not type/ copy paste my dads name in future :) Ponnarasi will do. Even thts long??? :))
Have a nice day,

Yes that attiude of the parents is the prime reason for spoiling the children.
I went to book fair yesterday, enquired Poompuhar pathipagam regd. this book, they said that the author himself is publishing the book now and has given the rights to Higginbothams, i tried in Higginbothams stall too, but they told that ive to go to mount road shop, so thought i ll get it some time later. -
Well, I agree about the bike thingy but about the MMS..it's not only the young kids but also some "matured" adults I would say, very much induldge in such digusting deeds and go unnoticed and sometimes get well paid for too! Call it cheap pleasure or easy money..they are just immoral.

What i meant was this wud not have happened for a school going person if parents had been vigilant. The other adults that you mentioned about, nothing can be done about it, they shud realise for themselves
