Wiki - most of us have heard this term. I heard that WIKI is the acronym for What I Know Is. Encyclopaedia has already gone Wiki.
Seems that now map has gone Wiki. Checkout this link. Here you can find anything you know, label it and save so that others can find it afterwards. Even we can find our house and save it, so that others can view that next time. Unfortunately i tried hard to find my house, "endha nerathula eduthaanugalo" clouds has covered my whole neighbhourhood :-(. Look at the pic below

Unga veedu enga paathuteengala?

P.S: All those tech savvies and net wizards out there, plz dont think of this as "Old News". For those who have not seen this already enjoi a gud search

Andraya comedy Indraya Reality...

Have a look at this link.
MP has removed many English rhymes from its syllabus, saying that they r gonna teach something relevant to our country.
When i read this, recollected Dindigul Leoni before 3 years in a Patti Mandram. He sang, "rain rain go away, Little Johny wants to play". His remarks was - "Indha rhymes Englandula ezhudhunaanga, anga eppavum Mazhai peyyum adhanaala idha paadaraanga, namma oorula mazhai peyyardhe periya vishayam, inga poi pullaiga ippadi paadina, vara mazhayum varaama poidum la"

Sounds funny but How true? We are aping them eventhough it doesnt suit us. Instead why cant we imbibe cultural aspects from them which suits our country. Time to change....

Enga Area Ulla Varadhe!!!

Tuesday, June 13, 2006
The weekend has just passed by. I spent mine with 2 movies. Both of them have something in common, that is VIOLENCE. One is running in theatres and other one was released almost a year and a half ago. The first movie was Pudhupettai. Before watching the movie i asked myself one question. What can i expect from a PsychoRaghavan a.k.a SelvaRaghavan movie? Immediate things that came to my mind was, psycho Dhanush, Sonia agarwal, some seducing scenes. I was 5 minutes late on a Saturday evening, yet fortunate to get a ticket in Satyam, oru velai padam sariyilliyo nu thonichu. I missed this title song. Then the movie started. As usual Dhanush was moaning in his Kadhal konden voice. This is the story of how a poor boy becomes a Dadha because of this rot society and his irresponsible father. Story is not new to us. But the way it was handled was different. The director has overdone some scenes in the name of "Yadaartham", but some scenes and situations were enjoyable, like the one in which Dhanush completes his first assignment with the guidance of his senior rowdy.
Liked some passionate scenes like, when Dhanush gets his new house, he just looks at Sneha for sometime inside the bedroom, she says "Raathirikku vechikalaame" :-). Sneha has done her role to perfection. Initially when i heard about her character before months, i thought "What is the necessity for her to choose such a role?". But she has done well. I could not see anything vulgar on her performance. The music when Dhanush joins that gang of rowdies was amazing, felt like dancing for each beat. Yuvan rocks. Apart from all this one particular feature of this movie needs a special mention. Cinematography was great and new to tamil cinema. In Virumaandi, night scenes were accompanied with a blue filter. I didnt like that, but in this movie it is much more improved and perfect. So the movie scores in the technical area too. No movie is perfect, this movie has some negatives too.
1. Climax is comedy, especially that mist effect made me laugh.
2. Over violence. ( this is not for below 15 boys)
3. Sonia agarwal was not necessary. ( i dont know why SR is so superstitious)
4. Dhanush overacting in certain scenes.

The scene in which Dhanush marries Sonia was atrocious. SR is expressing his stupid fantasies like this to the audience.Apart form this the movie is good and definitely different from current competitors.
The other movie was SAW. Chance ae illa, one of the best movies i have ever seen. i dont want to say the story. But everyone shud definitely watch this one.
Atlast i wud like to ask one question to some Tamil fans and politicians.
If Virumaandi was violence for you people, why the fuck didnt you protest against Pudupettai. "Kamal mela irukkura urimaiya?" illa "Oravanjanaiyaaa?".

Recently i could see that Chennai traffic police have been given a different hat like the one our Aettu would wear during british times. Veyillukagavaam....
