Just wanted to post the things that i enjoyed in the past 1 week.Since a scarcity for melodies has been existing offlate in Tamil film industry, i just tuned into some gemini and kiran tv instead of SUN music. Got this song as an accident in Kiran TV. This is from a movie named Nivedhyam, what an amazing composition and rendition by Vijay, Yesudas has gifted this world with a person who can sing like the genius himself. I keep hummin this songs atleast 20 times a day. Out of curiosity listened to all other songs in this movie, wow gud songs with Carnatic base, but this is my pick.

The next thing, i shud say a person rather. Happened to watch Tamil M.A. The heroine looked so cute an attractive, saw the movie twice for her, she is not like the stereotype heroines, but looks beautiful.

The other thing that i enjoyed was a small title music for the serial "Kadhalikka Neramillai" from VIJAY TV featuring Prajan, am not a fan of him, but the music was so gud, it was a kinda hip hop with carnatic flavour. Gud one.

The next one is a comedy from Marudhamalai, vadivelu has gone to extreme levels. The moment he says "Naan shock aagiten" i burst into laughter. LOL......

ATM

It happens always, i dunno only 4 me but it happens always. Things i try to avoid come again and again in my way, one such thing is ATM,
the acronym for Azhagiya Thamizh Magan. I have taken an oath not to watch this movie as i dont want to contribute to the success of formula
movies. But destiny thought the other way, so had to watch this out of compulsion yesterday. Thought of writing a few words about this movie.
Since this is a Vijay movie i expected some electrifying(only for VJ fans) intro scene followed by a song. As expected it came, but the inroduction
song had some tune (even though it wasnt gud) instead of the usual tappankuthu. Instead of shankar mahadevan it was sung by a man who all of us
know as a genius, i think we shud say he is the right MD in the wrong movie. His voice didnt suit VJ, the song didnt have a good tempo, so VJ seem
to have had some difficulties in dancing for the song, but some how he managed to dance his usual fast paced steps. "Paatu eppadi irundha ennanganna
naan ipdi thaanunganna aaduven" nu sonna maadhiri irundhuthu. But some steps were really hard to do and VJ with his usual grace did them to perfection.
As usual the hero is a sportsman who is invincible and invulnerable to any one. The story goes around his gud qualities, helping kids, giving message etc.
Suddenly the heroine of the movie pops in, she is India's answer to Shakira i guess, i dunno whether her hips lie or tell the truth, but the truth is her
hips are awesome and she has made gud use of it. She looks sexy (not cute) in certain scenes.
Then the movie goes into the story, the crux of this movie is premonition, VJ gives some reaction as if he is affected with some low sugar before
experiencing the premonition. The boy takes the gal to his hometown to convince his mom for marriage and finally succeeds as usual. Then comes the
song "Maduraiku POgathadi" reminded me of "Naatamai paadham patta" from the movie Nattamai. The villain of the story is not the girl's or the boy's
parents all of them have become comedians, so the villain is hero himself, i mean VJ has done a double action.
One fine day VJ gets a premonition of killing Shreya. So to avoid this he goes to Mumbai and splits from Shreya. There he finds there
is another VJ, who is a baddy and will do anything for money. Rest of the movie deals with how the goody VJ rules out the baddy VJ and wins his girlfriend
Sh(akira)reya. In between comes Namita who is added for some extra spice in the masala movie. May be the director thought audience might be bored watching
the fit and toned Shreya, so he added the gums(pronounce like Geff boycott) namitha, the camera man has covered the thighs and hips of Namitha more than her
face. He knows the pulse of tamil audience, he is aware that we tamilians like fluffy figures like Namitha :-). Shakila also has done a wonderful role in
the movie.
VJ has done a double role, he has tried to change the dialogue delivery between the 2 roles, gud effort, but for an actor of his experience it is
not enough a novice could have done this. He could have also tried to change the body language, at some part of the movie he starts talking like
Ajith(baddy VJ) and Sarathkumar(goody VJ).After some movement and aalmaarata swarasyam comes the song "Valayapati Thavilu" which was hyped the most,
the video disappointed me. Only gud part was VJ's dance. Finally in the climax a weird thing happens, the baddy VJ thirundhify and becomes a goody.
The comedy part is that he will thirundhify after hearing a ridiculous lecture from Shreya about sex and chastity, the lecture is given by Shreya in the ICU @ hospital where she is being admitted. If it had been
some gud actress the scene would have been superb, she could hardly provide any emotions. IMHO her hips act better than her face :-).
This is a story MGR shud have acted some 40 years before, grafix are poor but watchable. This movie can be watched once if u are VJ fan. The dancer
VJ has done his best, but actor VJ still lacks the skill for becoming the next superstar(as his fans tell about him)........................
