India 2020

Scene 1: Huge number of people stage their protests outside a foreign embassy. Media person asks one of the protestors.Media: Why are you ppl staging this?
Protestor: We are deprived of our basic rights, we are fighting for that.
Media: Were you not given food, shelter, education or freedom?
Protestor: No, last time ABC and XYZ(are 2 great international banks specialized in Investment Banking) came to campus in our institution, but they recruited only 2 OBCs , but 4 other ppl. We are demanding a 50% quota for OBCs in their company, we would like to force them thru' their respective embassies where they are based.
Media: Which institution you are into?
Protestor: ||An elite institution for Management in India||

Scene 2:

Embassy officer(foreign) has been invited to the studio to discuss on this issue.
Media: Sir, what are your comments?
Officer: They have recruited only those who deserve. Thats all.
Media: But in our country we give 50% quota for people whether they deserve that or not.
Officer: Thats acceptable for ordinary institutions.
Media: Sir but our government is trying to create social equality thru' these quotas in elite instituions.
Officer: That's y u are still underdeveloped.
Media: After a long silence, they invite the HR manager of that ABC/XYZ bank to join the conference and ask them to comment on this issue.
HR Managers: We have been recruiting gud candidates from these institution for the past 2 decades, but if junk things like these keeps taking place, we ll have to reconsider our decision of recruiting students from India.
Media: What is the reason?
HR Manager: Thats simple, those who deserve will be given the chance.
Media: ||dumb||

Scene 3:

A major software company based in US, who has a workforce of more than 30000 in India has decided to layoff around 25000 ppl in the next 1 year and shift their development centres to China. Media interviews the Vice president of that company.

Media: What is the reason behind this decision?
Vice President: The government has imposed a new law stating that we ll have to recruit people based on caste, we are not ready for that and hence we have decided to shift our base to China.
Media: When Indian companies are implementing the principle why can't you?
Vice President: Look at their profits. They have shown a sharp decline in their profits and have lost most of their customers. We are not ready for that.
Media: ||dumb||

Disclaimer:

The above mentioned post is purely fictional, any resemblance to live people/institutions is purely coincidental.
The post mentioned above does not mean that OBC ppl are not in par with others in education, intelligence, behavior.
I personally know ppl who are good. This is only to convey that what happens when non deserving ppl are given higher positions, may it be a Forward or Backward caste.

Just my funny/silly imagination after i saw this, eventhough i have mentioned in the disclaimer that these are purely fictional, am afraid that this may happen one day. GOD save INDIA.

Have a look at this too.

Andavaaa..........

Thirutu Payale

A break from usual LOVE and REVENGE crap. Tamil cinema is heading to a stage where only movies based on love have to be released. But there are some gud souls like the producer of this movie who are ready to present some different movies like this one. Bored on seeing ideal Heros in Vj ,VjKanth movies this one has a hero who is a culprit and corrupt to the core. The movie conveys extra marital affairs among the so called "High class" of the society and its implications when leaked out to 3rd party.
Bollywood has been releasing a chain of movies on this subject after the success of Murder, hope that doesnt happen here. The characters suit well in their roles except for Sonia and Susi Ganesan.
The story goes like this. Jeevan is a corrupt boy/man from a village, he ll even kill his own mom for money. They send him to Chennai where his Mama Mr. vikram's father stays. He resides near a golf club and accidentally discovers the extra mrital affair between Malavika and Abbas. He films the matter and starts extorting money from Malavika, he even enjoys a vacation in Australia, where he meets Sonia and falls in love with her.Sonia was setup by Malavika to crack Jeevan. She blackmails Jeevan to return the tape in exchange for Sonia Agarwal. A simple flashback illustrates why Jeevan goes corrupt becoz of his corrupt father. Then the movie goes with twists and turns to the cilmax.

Seems that Malavika is still suffering from that "C U at 9" hangover. There are some steamy scenes between Malavika and Abbas and she has done well ;-). Her voice especially was seducing, dunno whether it was dubbed, she has performed well in the acting section also. Screenplay was different and there is a subtly filmed love story between Sonia and Jeevan. Some scenes won applauses among audiences. The climax fight in which the hero kills 30 - 40 rowdies was humorous and a bit different as well. Instead of blasting the baddies in Matrix fashion, defying gravity,
he lures the rowdies into the race course and makes them chase him. They chase him for around 4 or 5 laps and then become tired physically. Then the Hero repays his part. First i laughed at this and consoled myself that atleast he didnt fly like Dhanush did in Sullan. Abbas as usual vandhutu poraar, we cannot expect acting from him. The person acting as Malavika's husband has done well. He is the cop from Dhool. Susi ganesan comes as a detective who investigates about CU AT 9's extra marital affair. Praying to God that he shud' not have any ambitions to become a Hero like
Perarasu.
Now lets come to the worst part of this movie. Thats a five letter word. That is "VIVEK". Why the hell did the director put him in a well planned movie like his? With his Adhi Medhaavi thanam and over punch dialogues he made me utter some bad words. Towards the end of the movie, while he came in the frame, there was a sound from audience "O!@a vandutaanda poram pokku...". The old vivek is gone, this guy is a new "thinking too much of himself" vivek. Definitey inclusion of this guy degrades the movie. Overall the movie is gud and watchable. The climax also was practical. Songs are not that gud. But the Title Song "thirutu payale..." was great with its superb lyrics.

When i came out of the movie i had a doubt.Looking into the story and screenplay, i though "Edhaavadhu foreign movie oda inspirationa irukkumo?" Kaalam badil sollum.....

SARCASM at its best!!!

Look at this comment by some guy for Reservation issue in a forum

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely
support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the
reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation
for Muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be
modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST
player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a
six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring
60 runs should be declared as a century.

We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like
Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should
bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery
above this speed should be made illegal.

Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an
OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.

There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and
OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians
(that can really help the country...)

Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers
and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country...)

Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...
Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of
being an INDIAN..

May the good breed of politicians like ARJUN SINGH long live...

He has nailed pro reservation ppl. But its a bit too harsh as well...

Got a break from my regular duties as i mentioned in my previous post. Visited my Kula dheivam temples after 3 years. Those are remote villages showing remote chances of development in the near future. Same roads, same ppl, same illiteracy. God save them.

This is my Amma vazhi kuladheivam called Arasaalvar, this temple is located in Srivaikuntam near tirunelveli. The speciality of this temple is that it does not have any roof. Moolasthaanam is situated below a Arasamaram. Inspite of many tries nobody was able to build a roof, something or other has stopped them. The poor town has not developed yet.

This is the Pathrakaali amman temple located at Perungulam, a small village located near Srivaikuntam. They didnt allow me to take a foto inside. This temple also has a speciality that the Utchavar Amman statue is taken in a "Pithalai Kudam" instead of the regular pallaku or any special vahanaas. Had a gud and divine darshan for the first 2 days.

Then i was on a short trip to Thenmalai in Kerala. It is located at around 100 kms from tirunelveli, near Sengottai. The whole area is lush green and climate was also gud. The area and surroundings have many waterfalls and rivers suitable for taking a 4-5 hours bath. Of course who will miss it? Mother Nature has given her best to these ppl. The area is famous for Eco tourism as well, there are stuff like boating, trekking etc.

The photo shown below was taken in a Deer rehabilitation center created by Govt. of Kerala. There was only a single deer inside and that too ran away when we tried to photograph him. Shy creature :). but the locations were cool.

this place had small hut like strutures created on top of trees like the one below, having food in these Kudils was a different experience.

Another interesting place was the Kalladai irrigation Project Dam, which stands massive, the place was gud to watch.

This place also hosts a famous bridge built during British times named as "Kal Paalam", a song in Jeyam was filmed here.

On return we had a surprising rain, because of this Kutraalam aruvi started flowing and we had a gud time there too. While i was in the 5 falls i met a guy from Mumbai. He was a 40 year old respectable who was standing besides us waiting for a chance. he was so paavam looking, spoke to him about Kutraalam falls and places around there. After sometime he took his bath and went away. I saw 2 guards armed with machine guns accompanying him. Enquired ppl near me about him. He was the special IAS officer appointed to supervise elections. I thought Idhe namma ooru aalugala irundhaa, enna scene poduvaanuga, but this guy was simple and down to earth. He waited in the queue. I mean he has the power and authority to bypass everyone but he didnt do it. He stood as an example for simplicity. India needs more officers like him.
